Cravin Review 2026: How Do Cravin Packs Work?

What are Cravin packs and how do they work?

Cravin packs are essentially another term for the mystery boxes available on the site. Each pack contains a selection of potential products and Credits, with the item pool, odds and minimum return displayed before you decide whether to open it.

There’s quite a difference between the packs available. You can spend a few hundred Credits opening a Pokémon pack or thousands on boxes containing sports cards, tech and branded collectibles. Check out this GameStop Power Packs review to get an idea of what other packs are available and how they work.

What can you open with Cravin?

There’s a massive selection of Cravin packs covering trading cards, tech, gaming and collectibles. Some are relatively cheap to open, while others cost tens of thousands of Credits and contain significantly more valuable potential items.

Here are a few examples of the Cravin mystery boxes available:

The difference between the two trading card packs gives you a good idea of how varied the selection can be. Pokémon Commons costs just 499 Credits, while European Sports Legends jumps all the way to 22,999 Credits with some much more valuable cards potentially available.

If trading cards are what caught your attention, you can also check this RIPIT review to see what else is available.

I’d always check the complete item pool and individual odds rather than focusing solely on the headline product. A Mac Pro or high-value sports card might grab your attention, but there are plenty of other potential outcomes in each box.

How do Cravin Credits work?

Cravin Credits are the currency used to open packs across the platform. The smallest available package costs $5 for 500 Credits, which is enough to open some of the cheaper mystery boxes.

Pack prices can vary massively. Pokémon Commons costs 499 Credits, for example, while European Sports Legends costs 22,999 Credits. How many Credits you need therefore depends heavily on the type of pack you want to open.

You can also receive Credits from certain packs or by trading items from your Inventory.

What happens after opening a Cravin pack?

Once you complete a Cravin rip, anything you receive is added to your Inventory. This is where things get a little more interesting, as you’re not necessarily stuck with whatever you unbox.

If you want the physical item, you can claim it for shipment. Alternatively, you can trade the item back for Credits, which are added to your balance instantly and can be used elsewhere on the platform.

Just remember that Credits received by trading Inventory items cannot subsequently be withdrawn as cash. Physical delivery can also be subject to KYC, carrier availability, customs and location restrictions.

I like that Cravin gives you a choice over what happens after a rip rather than making every result final. If getting the physical product is your main reason for opening a pack, I’d check the delivery requirements beforehand.

If you’re mainly interested in ripping trading cards, this Packz.io review covers another platform built more specifically around cards.

How do payments work at Cravin?

You’ll need to purchase Credits before you can start opening Cravin packs with the cheapest option costing $5 for 500 Credits, with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Google Pay and Apple Pay all available as payment methods.

There are a couple of extra costs worth knowing about once you’ve opened a box. If you decide to keep your item, shipping costs $4 per item, with most deliveries expected within seven working days.

Alternatively, you can trade an unwanted item for Credits to use on other packs. Cravin charges a 15% fee for converting the value of your item into Credits, so I’d keep that in mind before deciding whether to ship or trade what you’ve unboxed.

You can compare this with this TiltRips review if you want to see how payments and card ripping work on another platform.

What is Cravin’s customer support like?

Cravin’s customer support can be accessed through mainly e-mail or social media. I wasn’t able to find their desk hours but it seems you can always get in contact with them, with a timely response.

It would be good to see the brand offer a proper live chat customer support option in the future. But the site has only just launched, so I’d say there’s a good chance their customer support offerings will improve as the size of their user base increases. Plus, even before that happens, there are still solid ways to get help.

Is Cravin legit?

Mystery box sites are still relatively new, so it makes sense to do a few checks before signing up. From what I found, Cravin has several things in place that help establish it as a legitimate platform.

For starters, Cravin only operates in selected US states where it accepts customers. The site also uses SSL encryption to protect information being transferred, while its Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is handled.

Fairness is another important consideration. Cravin states that it uses cryptographic hashing as part of its provably fair system, which is designed to ensure mystery box results are randomly assigned. You can also see the potential items and odds before opening a box, which gives you a clearer idea of what you’re getting into.

I also like the Fair Value Guarantee, according to Cravin, the lowest-value item in a box will be worth at least 50% of the opening price, with any difference returned to you in Credits.

Finally, Cravin can require identity verification, including personal information and photo ID. It adds another step to the process, but it’s another security measure worth knowing about before signing up.

My Cravin review verdict

After putting Cravin through its paces, there’s plenty to like about how the platform works. Their massive variety of mystery boxes really stood out for me, not to mention the fantastic selection of potential prizes.

Cravin are as clear as day when it comes to showing the potential items and odds before you open a pack. Add in the option to ship what you unbox or trade it for Credits, and you’ve got plenty of control over what you do with your items.

If Cravin sounds like your kind of thing, click the banner to check it out for yourself and see what you could potentially unbox.
