We’re not surprised when people ask, what the heck are these online card rips? They’re actually pretty cool, and the concept is simple. You buy card packs or boxes online, which are then opened digitally or during a live stream. Whenever rips are completed digitally, blockchain minting can be used to verify the outcome and show that it hasn’t been manipulated.
What’s pretty neat is that with most platforms, you can then decide whether to sell your cards back through the site or have them shipped to you. If you want to explore the sport beyond the EPL, our guide to rip soccer cards online covers the wider soccer card ripping scene.

New players can also claim a free welcome box with no deposit required.

Yes, card rips can be safe online, but it’s important to choose a reputable platform. Before buying anything, check the site’s reputation, payment security, shipping policies, and how cards are selected.
You should also understand exactly what you’re buying before opening a box. Check the possible pulls, how cards are selected, and what happens after the rip. If physical cards are important to you, make sure the platform supports shipping to your location and check any associated fees beforehand.
Premier League card rips and card breaks might sound like the same thing, but there is one key difference. With a card rip, you buy the pack or mystery box yourself and reveal your own pull. Depending on the platform, you can then keep the card, sell it back, or arrange to have it shipped to you.
A Premier League card break usually involves several collectors sharing a box. Each person buys a spot, which could represent a particular team, player, or another category. The box is then opened, often during a live stream, and the cards are distributed based on the spots purchased.
This makes Premier League card box breaks a way to chase cards you’re interested in without buying the entire box yourself. Both rips and breaks are available in other sporting collection cards; take a look at sports card group rip for more info.
A little bit of preparation can go a long way when ripping Premier League cards online. Here are five things we’d recommend keeping in mind before choosing your next box.
Have an idea of the players, teams, or card sets you’re interested in before choosing a box. This can help narrow down your options.
Take a look at the cards that can be pulled before buying. Different packs can contain completely different sets, players, and card rarities.
Pulling the card is only part of the process. Check shipping costs and requirements beforehand if you eventually want your physical cards delivered.
You won’t necessarily want every card you pull. If the platform offers buybacks, check how they work and what value you’ll receive before selling.
Opening another box can always be tempting, particularly after an underwhelming pull. Decide how much you’re comfortable spending beforehand and stick to it.
Premier League card rips are a great online alternative to buying individual cards or waiting for physical packs to arrive. You can open boxes instantly, see what you’ve pulled and, depending on the platform, sell unwanted cards back or have your favourites shipped straight to your door. With platforms like Packz.io, Royale.gg, and Boxed.gg offering different ways to get involved, there are plenty of options to explore.
